A Little History About Caistor Centre

In the Niagara Region, Caistor Centre was one of the most densely forested and least populated counties. Caistor Centre was named after a village in Lincolnshire, England. Boarded by Gainsborough Township and Grimsby Township, Caistor Centre was considered an “inland township” although it had many waterways. Two of the major waterways are Chippawa and Welland River. Back in the day Caistor Centre township was extensively used by indigenous people as a route between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. Caistor Centre to this day is mainly farmland and residential property. With a population of 3,000 people Caistor Centre is a fairly small community. Caistor Centre is about 10-15 minutes East of Stoney Creek and Hamilton Mountain, with Grimsby and Smithville being the next closest towns of only 5-10 minutes away.

How to Load the Bin

When loading the Bin we recommend that taking your time to strategize the placement of the items to make sure all you garbage fits. We recommend loading all the heavier items towards the front of the bin so the weight inside the bin gets distributed evenly. When your almost done filling up the bin make sure to leave enough room so the double barn doors close properly and also to make sure nothing is sticking up past the top of the bin. Nothing shall be sticking up past our “FILL LINE” stickers that are placed on both sides of the bin and the back. Result of an overloaded bin may mean that the driver will be unable to take the bin away in a safe manner and will leave the bin on site until its loaded properly and safely to be taken away. Which would result in an extra fee of $75.00.
