A Little History About Waterdown
Waterdown is a town in Canada which beginning around 2001 has been a local area of Hamilton, Ontario. Waterdown is roughly 60 km west of downtown Toronto. On January 1, 2001 the new city of Hamilton was shaped from the combination of six regions: Hamilton, Ancaster, Dundas, Flamborough, Glanbrook, and Stoney Creek. Prior to combination, the “old” City of Hamilton had Hamiltonians isolated into 100 areas. The new amalgamated city had roughly 500,000 individuals in north of 200 neighbourhoods. Waterdown was made from that piece of East Flamborough Township on the edge of the Niagara Escarpment, only east of the intersection of King’s Highways #5 and #6, customarily known as Clappison’s Corners. In 1974, the town was amalgamated with East Flamborough, West Flamborough and Beverly municipalities to shape the Town of Flamborough. In 2001, Flamborough and 5 different districts were amalgamated into the City of Hamilton. Waterdown is growing extraordinarily, with the expansion of a YMCA and a few business foundations. On account of the endorsement of new homes in Waterdown, somewhere around 6,500 additional houses soon to be built along with the progressing conversations about the $50 million ‘Waterdown By-Pass’, which would take into consideration simpler access across the city.

How to Load the Bin
When loading the Bin we recommend that taking your time to strategize the placement of the items to make sure all you garbage fits. We recommend loading all the heavier items towards the front of the bin so the weight inside the bin gets distributed evenly. When your almost done filling up the bin make sure to leave enough room so the double barn doors close properly and also to make sure nothing is sticking up past the top of the bin. Nothing shall be sticking up past our “FILL LINE” stickers that are placed on both sides of the bin and the back. Result of an overloaded bin may mean that the driver will be unable to take the bin away in a safe manner and will leave the bin on site until its loaded properly and safely to be taken away. Which would result in an extra fee of $75.00.
